Greetings from Marpo Kinetics!
If you already have one of our rope climbers, you probably
know that we like to call our customers every once in a
while and get their feedback on how their machines are
working out for them. Occasionally, our customers "beat us
to the punch" and call or email us themselves to tell us
about their experience with their rope climber.
Fred Fornicola, owner and trainer at
Premier Personal Fitness in Asbury Park, NJ, is the
latest customer to take the time to write to us about his
experience with his VLT compact rope climber. Fred's letter
details his research and decision-making process before the
purchase and then gives a great, detailed overview of how
the VLT helps him improve workouts for his clients.

Fred
Fornicola:
"I will state
that I have no affiliation with Marpo Kinetics and this
review was unsolicited. When I feel strongly about something
- good or bad - I like to share my experiences, so take it
for what it’s worth."

"A
few month’s ago, I had an opportunity to put the VLT
through the paces for myself. I soon got a real
flair for what this diverse piece of hardware could
provide my clients. I was excited for my own use as
well because for quite some time I have not been
able to effectively do any direct overhead work, and
the VLT made it very comfortable to perform this
type of movement."
...
"As a business owner and strength and fitness coach,
I spent a lot of time weighing the options of
purchasing the VLT. I compared the possibilities of
buying a Hammer Strength pullover machine or even a
new selectorized pulldown machine. The pullover,
albeit a great piece of equipment, provided only one
means of use and the cost of a quality selectorized
pulldown machine is very comparable to that of the
VLT. Considering the cost, the positive feedback, my
own experience and the versatility of the VLT, it
was an easy decision for me to invest in this piece
of equipment that was able to provide a safe,
efficient and effective means of exercising." |

"There’s no
doubt that its distinctiveness and functionality helped
solidify the deal for me. See, the beautiful thing about the
Viper is that it doesn’t only replicate rope climbing. With
a little imagination, this machine provides stimulation not
only to the intended “rope climbing muscles” of the upper
back, biceps, forearms and hands but can also work the
triceps, shoulders, chest, abs and lower body - directly and
indirectly."
...
"Every single one of my clients has used the Viper and what
has been so spectacular, in my opinion, is that those
clients who deal with some kind of shoulder impingement or
soreness have been able to do overhead pulling on the Viper
with no ill-effects. Because the rope has no “starting or
stopping” point an individual can work within their safe and
comfortable range of motion – unlike that of most overhead
pulling equipment." |
